  • 50 g white basmati rice, rinsed and drained
  • 2 tbsp sunflower oil, plus extra for oiling
  • 2 small onions, chopped
  • 450 g minced pork
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • ¼ tsp dried marjoram
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley leaves
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 tbsp butter, softened
  • tbsp plain flour
  • 1 tbsp cornflour
  • 6 tbsp tomato puree/paste
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp red wine vinegar
