  • low-calorie cooking spray
  • 1 medium onion, peeled and diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, peeled and crushed
  • 1 medium carrot, peeled and diced
  • 1 red pepper, deseeded and diced
  • 500 g 5%-fat minced beef
  • 200 ml beef stock (1 beef stock cube dissolved in 200 ml boiling water)
  • 2 tbsp tomato puree
  • 2 tbsp Henderson’s relish
  • 1x 400 g tin chopped tomatoes
  • 1 tsp white granulated sweetener
  • 2 tbsp BBQ seasoning
  • 2 tbsp smoked paprika
  • sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • small portion of pasta
