Pork and noodle stir fry


This Chinese dish, using mainly storecupboard ingredients is easy to whip up for an impromptu supper with friends.

  • 2 tbsp sunflower oil
  • 250 g pork fillet, trimmed and cut into stips
  • ½ bunch of spring onions, trimmed and sliced on the diagonal
  • 100 g mangetout, cut lengthways into strips
  • 1x 150 g pack straight-to-wok noodles
For the sauce
  • 2 tsp cornflour
  • juice 1 orange
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp rice wine or sherry
  • 1 tbsp clear honey
