Five spice pork with ginger and honey
This has a real takeaway feel, but with fresh ingredients and no additives. It is, at least, half the price and also much quicker than waiting for the takeaway! Gluten-free: make sure the soy sauce is GlutenFree.

Ingredients
- 1½ mugs basmati rice
- 2 tsp cornflour
- 3 tsp 5 spice powder
- 4 pork steaks, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp toasted sesame oil
- 1 green or red pepper, chopped
- 6 spring onions, chopped
- 2 tbsp freshly grated ginger
Sauce
- 1 mug water
- 1 tbsp cornflour
- 2 tbsp mirin
- 2 tbsp soy
- juice of ½ lime
- 2 tbsp honey
