Snowman cinnamon rolls

1. In a large bowl, whisk together the warm milk and sugar. Add the yeast and set aside to activate and bubble for
   5 minutes.
2. Add the flour to the milk mixture and stir with a wooden spoon until just combined. Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead until the dough is smooth and elastic.
3. Place the dough back in the bowl and cover with cling-film. Leave in a warm place to rise for
   1 hour, or until doubled in size.
4. Line 2 baking trays with greaseproof paper. Remove approximately ⅓ of the dough and set aside for later - this will be used to make the smaller cinnamon roll heads. Roll the larger portion of dough out into a large rectangle, about 5 mm thick.
5. In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar and cinnamon. Brush the surface of the dough with melted butter and then sprinkle over about ⅔ of the cinnamon sugar. Gently rub the sugar mixture into the butter.
6. Roll up the dough, starting from a long edge to form a log. Place seam-side down and trim the ends. Cut the log into 8 equal slices. Place 4 rolls onto each prepared tray, these will be the snowmen's bodies.
7. To make the heads, roll the remaining ⅓ of dough out to the same thickness and length as before - the rectangle will be narrower as there is less dough. Spread with butter and cinnamon sugar. Roll up along the long edge and slice into 8 equal slices - the cinnamon rolls will be smaller.
8. Place the small rolls next to the bigger ones, so that the seams meet up and are touching. Make sure there is a 3 cm gap between each snowman. Cover the buns with cling-film and place in a warm place to rise for
   45 minutes or until doubled in size.
9. Preheat the oven to 200°C. Remove the cling-film and bake the rolls
   10-15 minutes, until golden brown. Remove from the oven and leave to cool.
10. Once cool, prepare the topping. Mix icing sugar and milk until smooth and thick. Using a teaspoon, spread the icing over the surface of each snowman. Add chocolate chip eyes to the face and buttons to the body. Use orange smarties to make the carrot noses and leave for a few minutes to set. Use the red icing tube to add scarves to the snowmen.
