at room temperature

garlic

finely chopped

hot red chilli
,
deseeded and thinly sliced
½
tsp
salt
16-20
cooken peeled king prawns

tagliatelle
juice and zest of ½ lemon

Mix the
butter
,
garlic
,
chilli
and
salt
in a bowl. Add the
prawns
, cover and leave in the fridge for at least an hour.
Put a large pan of salted water on to boil. Add the pasta and let it cook in the boiling watr for
8-10
miuntes.
For the last
4
minutes
of pasta cooking time, put the
prawns
with their flavoured
butter
in a saucepan and gently heat so the
butter
melts and the
prawns
heat through.
Toss the cooked
tagliatelle
with the melted
butter
and
prawns
and arrange on
4
plates. Squeeze over the lemon juice and sprinkle over the lemon zest. Garnish with black pepper and a sprinkling of chives.
